The past two weekends have been packed full and kept us on the go, but we have been having lots of fun along the way! After the excitement of Halloween, mommy went to a baby shower for Heather Bryant and her twin girls. Heather is currently on bedrest at home, so mommy was very glad that she was still able to have her baby shower and have her friends there with her!
We spent Sunday evening playing with play dough, which was Hunter's first experience with this fun stuff! He had just about as much fun with the little containers as he did with the play dough itself! It is so fun to watch him discover new things everyday! What a miracle God has sent us! :)
Hunter has always loved watching us clean with the vaccum or the Swiffer...and lately, we have let him have a go with the Swiffer! He loves pushing it around the whole downstairs and we figure that it certainly can't hurt! :)
This weekend, Mommy and Auntie spent the day at the craft show while Hunter and Daddy went to the Inflatable Palace for a few hours! Then, Gram and Grandpa kept Hunter for the night while Mommy and Daddy went to Angie and Keith's wedding! Everyone had a blast!

On Sunday, Mommy and Heather spent a few hours in the morning working on cakes and then we spent a little family quiet time at the house. In the afternoon, we headed off as a family to our friends' Jerry and Jana Burch's house for a little "beach" fun! They have created a little sandy area in their back yard where they have a built in fire pit and lots of tiki torches and lights which Hunter became mesmerized by...Hunter also found their "Radio Flyer" wagon and quickly decided that he liked this rolling contraption! We think we might have an idea of a Christmas gift now!! He had a blast playing in the wagon and the sand while eating all kinds of things ranging from marshmallows to goldfish crackers to baked apples ~ while mommy and daddy ate oysters, crab and shrimp...We can't wait until the day when he can eat shellfish with us!

What a great two weekends ~ as the weather gets cooler, it reminds us more and more that Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! This will no doubt be a fun year for Hunter as he will understand so much more than last year just how fun the holidays can be when they are spent with family and close friends...We love you all! :)
