Our special elf, George, came back from the North Pole to keep an eye on Hunter for Santa Claus...he left each night to return to the North Pole to make his daily report on how Hunter was doing...each morning, we had a great time finding where George was in the house and what kind of mischief he had gotten into! :)
The first of December, George arrived, complete with his stocking and his storybook...Hunter was so surprised and welcomed him back with a big hug :)

George turned out to be a wonderful nurse for Hunter when he was sick...
Silly George was caught riding Hunter's bike IN THE HOUSE...Hunter was quick to fuss at him and tell him that bicycles are not allowed in the house!
George decided that we needed some tinsel decoration in the kitchen...and he took it upon himself to make that happen! He either ran out of energy or ran out of time and left the job half done...

apparently, George is a hunter and it looks like he had a good day in the woods...
since we don't have a chimney for Santa to come down, George provided a special magic key for us to put outside on Christmas Eve - it allowed Santa to come through the back door! :)
and the "magic key" must have worked! Santa definitely came and left lots of fun presents...and a special surprise...George was still here??!!
George got special permission from Santa to stay through Christmas day since Hunter didn't get a chance to tell him goodbye before he fell asleep on Christmas Eve...Hunter was thrilled to have a little extra time with George and tell him goodbye until next year...
PaPa made sure that he got a little time with George, too! :)
