Chickens, Horses, Matching PJ's, Daddies, Baseball, Family, Reunions, Marinas, Seafood, Beaches, Concerts, Art Projects and Smoothies, OH MY!

A visit out to Pinner Hill Farm is always fun...Hunter gets a kick out of the chickens and is always mesmerized by the tractor... it is always fun meeting the newest addition to their ever-growing horse family, too! :)

Meeting Kelly for the first time :)

Paul brought Cooper out for a visit, too! :)

 Picking blueberries...

I always can not wait to get my hands on this little boy... Asher is a super happy little boy, which is no wonder, considering who his family is! :)
Best buddies, Hunter and Foster, heading up to the playroom...
 Hugs

Love this one...they are growing up so fast!

A little father's day fun with the fam :)
Love my Dee Dee so much! <3 p="p">

Hunter and Dadda...practice, practice, practice...

A special reunion with a very dear friend, my lil' one, Rachael  :)
Will giving love to both the Rachaels :)

Will and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on June 7th and he had my diamond reset as my anniversary gift :)  I decided to plan a weekend getaway for us to Virginia Beach, where we stayed in a cozy bungalow, enjoyed lots of great food and drinks, caught up with great friends, slept in, took in the smell and the taste of the salty air, and had a blast experiencing a Dave Matthews Band concert...it was the perfect little mini-vacation to start off the summer right...and to start our next 10 years together...We are so blessed to be so in love, and best friends at the same time...we can be totally ridiculous in front of one another and we end up laughing until we cry...that is what it is all about...The best is yet to be as we grow old together...I love you, babe.

Our rooftop deck for the weekend...

The marina across the street from our bungalow at Rudee's Inlet

Our first ride on the "city bus" in Va. Beach...quite pleasant, I might add...
Our delicious hors devours dinner at Catch 31 :)
Our dinner dates, Angie and Mark (Angie and I teach together at Chickahominy)

At the Dave Matthews Band concert...it was AMAZING :)

Slip and Slide time...keeping cool in the hot weather!

I embarked upon a 6 day smoothie "feast" to give my body a much deserved vacation and to "reboot" my system...I tried many combinations of fruits and vegetables (mostly variations of Linda Wagner 's recipes, but I finally found my favorite one...it is so favorite that I still drink one at least 4 days a week...it is seriously THAT good! :)  I have to say that I owe my motivation and inspiration to do this cleanse to my wonderful friend, Rachael...Her blog is both uplifting and informative and it always gives me a good laugh, too!  I can almost hear her talking to me when I read it!  You should definitely check it out - she has lots of fun beauty tips and recipes and some comic relief thrown in there, too!  Her blog is http://rachaelkhawkins.blogspot.com/.
This "mean green" smoothie was packed with vitamins and antioxidants...it was pink grapefruit, red grapes, kale, banana and Sugar Free Vanilla Almond Milk.  It was a good mix of sweet and tart...refreshing for the summer!

Silly Hunter playing Go Fish with Mommy :)
My favorite smoothie yet...drumroll, please... :)
Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, blueberries (lots), pineapple, baby spinach, 1 banana, protein powder and liquid Stevia extract...seriously, DELICIOUS!
yummm...
Khaki, Hunter and Gabe cooling off with a treat from the ice cream man! :)
Practicing his "swimming" in the bathtub! :)

Sporting his Transformers jammies, tennis shoes, and toys :)
A little golf ball art fun :)

And the storm decided that we didn't need deck furniture...

or a tree in the front of our house...

but, we were very blessed that we were all safe and sound (staying with Tina and Dan in Montpelier) - so thankful to have wonderful friends that even let us bring our four-legged child with us! :)

Did you know that you can trade in your Kid's Meal toy at Chick fila for a small Ice Cream?  Neither did we, until Emily and Kaden let us in on the secret!  Kaden and Hunter enjoyed cooling off while the Mommies got to catch up :)

Hunter decided that he would hook up his wagon to the back of his ATV and haul away the debris from the storm...He seriously picked up sticks for close to an hour and did an AWESOME job...even better, it was all his idea! :)  We are so proud of our little man!

And the garage is definitely taking shape :)
