all the hype

A glance back on March and April...

April was a busy month around our house...with our "backyard spruce up", Easter festivities, trips to Maymont and just day-to-day life, we didn't sit still much...Here is a quick glimpse...

Hunter and Mommy love to do puzzles together...that is our thing...I had honestly forgotten how much I loved working puzzles until I started doing them with him!  He is so cute, because after we finish a puzzle, he always says "Great teamwork Momma!" :)

Dadda drilling the stake holes for our future mulch area retaining wall!!

A visit with Tyler Farcas...a little snack time, a little movie time, a little dress-up time (as superheros,  of course), and a little craft time...They had so much fun! :)

Our big delivery of mulch came...I never would have believed that we would use that much...

The spreading begins...with lots of help from Kurt! :)

Would like to plant flowers around the sides of the deck eventually...or maybe some shrubs...haven't decided yet??

We celebrated Dadda's birthday with dinner at Outback and a family outing to the bowling alley! :)  This was Hunter's first experience bowling and he thought it would be fun to chase after the
bowling ball...but, by the end, he wasn't doing too bad (with a little help, of course)! :)

And of course, who could forget about the infamous annual Shuk N Pull...Not us, that is for sure! :)
My best friend, Tina and I always make sure to get in our annual Shuk N Pull picture...I have lost count of how many years it has been...

Celebrating Will's 33rd birthday weekend with a little oyster shucking...okay, so he was doing the shucking and the grilling...I helped eat them a little, though! :)

 Crazy friends, Ernie and Will

Some of the crew...missing several key people this year :(

We did actually make it over to watch the tractor pull for a little bit! :)

All that little man wants to do is be outside...whether it is riding one of his bikes or his ATV, or playing ball or just running around with Skyler, he is completely happy as long as we are outside...
We always joke that we would give anything just to have a little percentage of his energy!! :)

Now, our fire pit has a cozy little area where we often sit and relax in the evenings! :)

Such a big boy on his big bike...before long, we will be taking those training wheels off...hard to believe...

On the way to Bass Pro Shops to see the Easter Bunny :)

Keeping himself entertained while we wait in the long line to see Mr. EB himself! :)

The two most handsome men in the world...I love them so much!

Loving on my little man <3

Peeking between the people in line to see how far we have to go...waiting so patiently, though...
we were very proud! :)

It was finally his turn and he didn't hesitate to walk right up and start his important chat with the Easter Bunny!

The thought of this scares me on so many levels...

Making "friends" with Mr. Bear...

Easter Bunny grilled cheese sandwich for lunch :)

The Easter bunny came!

Cupcakes for our Easter dinner with the family :)

Auntie, soon-to-be Uncle Scott, and Hunter :)

Love this pic - when he was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he replied without hesitation "I want to be my daddy!"  That would be just fine with me! :)

Hunting for eggs...

Trip to Maymont with Auntie and Mommy :)
