I thought I would update the cakes I have done since I haven't shared those in a while...I have been staying quite busy between family, friends and friends of friends! I hadn't intended to make this hobby into a side business, but sometimes things just happen! I am having fun with it and learning more and more as I go! I hope you enjoy!
My Dee Dee's birthday cake...There is obviously a story behind this one...Every time my dad comes over to visit, the birds have a field day with his van and "relieve themselves" over and over again on his side view mirrors. We think that they look at themselves in the mirrors and get all excited and well...I guess that is what happens when birds get excited?? ha ha! He has gotten to the point where he will put bags over his mirrors to try and prevent it and that sometimes works! So, I had to make a funny cake for him to make him laugh and make light of the situation all at the same time! The part that concerns us now is that Hunter has been running around telling everyone that he ate PaPa's poo poo cake...Uh oh...they weren't kidding when they said little kids repeat everything and will embarrass you at some point! I just hope his teachers at school don't start to worry about us! :)

A wedding cake for a friend from high school...this one was done with help from my friend, Heather Reed...she was such a great help and two sets of hands are always better than one when it comes to cake decorating (especially when stacking, dowel rods, leveling, etc. are involved) :)
