A weekend of playing (with a little baking mixed in)...

They will be wed on Friday and their colors were pale yellow and chocolate brown...along with my sous chef, Heather Reed, I officially completed my first wedding cake...and had fun along the way! I want to give a big thank you to Heather for all of her help and fixes along the way as well as her reminders to "breathe, Rachael...you are doing fine...it is going to turn out perfect...etc." I needed that! I also want to thank Heather Bryant for her tips, guidance and for loaning me her materials that helped to make this happen! :) You Heathers are pretty great...I know quite a few wonderful Heathers in fact! :)

Once the wedding cake was done, we ate up the last of the weekend by playing on the back deck until I happened to glance at the clock and realized it was already 7pm and Hunter hadn't eaten or had a bath yet! Oops! This is just a glimpse of the fun that awaits us as summer gets nearer! :) So much fun! I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Shake it, shake it!!

Who says you can't use baby toys when you get a little older...It is now Hunter's ducky boat and he loves to go through rough seas and tip over in it...pretty funny!! Not what it was intended for, but so much more fun! :)
