and now we are sitting here thinking...Where did the time go? As we sat back on Saturday night and talked about Hunter's exciting day, we just kept saying "He is 2...that is crazy". As many times as people have told us that "time flies" and "they grow up fast", it doesn't ring true until it is happening to you! Hunter had a wonderful "Little Einsteins" birthday party complete with three of his favorite treats...chips, pizza and cake! His family came over to share in his special day with him and he was showered in lots of fun gifts and thoughtful wishes! He ran himself ragged all day and ate up all of the attention and love from everyone! We hope you enjoy the pictures of his big day! :)
Earlier in the week, Hunter got his birthday card in the mail from Aunt Barbara and Uncle Rob...he was so cute, opening and closing it over and over and giggling all the while!
He then got his first present in the mail from Aunt Edit and Uncle Roger...and he loved his Redskins hat...he prefers to wear it backwards, but it is adorable either way!
Dancing with his new hat on!
Mommy's 2 silly men :)
Such a boy...always has a bruise somewhere!
Opening Susan's birthday card...so excited, even though he has no idea what it says!!
Opening Susan's birthday present, which ended up being his outfit for the big day! :)
Hunter's Little Einsteins cake that I made him...it was lots of fun!
Opening his singing Little Einsteins birthday card from Mommy and Dadda...let's just say that birthday card has been opened some several hundred times since this picture was taken! :)
Cheesing it up for the camera as he waits for his birthday party to start!
Taking control of the present situation...if you guys won't unload these bags, I will!
Papa's present made a perfect seat for the birthday boy!
Friends, Jason and Heather decided to get Hunter started early learning about the wonderful game of golf! You know Dadda loved this!
Taking a break from opening his presents to build a present tower with them! Too funny!
Tickled with himself...
Reading up on his new Elmo Lego set from Aunt Barbara and Uncle Rob...
Looking at his new books with Dadda...
Why do they have to make it so difficult to get into these children's toys...don't they realize that Daddas have about the same patience as the birthday boys!! ha ha!!
Opening his new shoes from PaPa...wore them around the rest of the evening!
Riding one of his presents from Gram and PapPap!
Loves his new school bus!
PaPa and Hunter trying to figure out all the buttons on his new monster truck from Gram and PapPap!
Loving his new wagon from Mommy and Dadda...
so much that he decided to go for a ride around the kitchen and living room!
Testing out the sippy cup holder...too cute!
Listening to everyone singing him "Happy Birthday"...loved it!
excited about his Einsteins cake...
Blowing out his 2 candle (without spitting) :)
Eating his cake...not the typical 2 year old cake picture with icing everywhere...this kid does not like to get messy! We aren't complaining, though! :)
Auntie Heather with the birthday boy! :)
Making a train out of all of his new cars and trucks ~ he walked around saying "CHOO CHOO" after they were all lined up!
Hugs for Jason to thank him for the golf clubs!
Happy 2nd Birthday to our little man! We feel so incredibly blessed to have you in our lives and can't imagine what our lives would be like without you.
