School is out for winter break, which makes mommy really happy of course! It will be nice to have things slow down a little bit and get some extra time with family and friends over the next two weeks! To top it all off, God graced us with a beautiful winter wonderland over the past two days, which has turned out to be lots of fun...we were worried that the snow would be too deep for Hunter, but he figured it out real quick and did great out there! Earlier this week, we had a visit from the man himself, Santa Claus...He came by on top of the firetruck and Hunter really enjoyed seeing him...his face was priceless - he just kept waving an pointing until Santa was totally out of sight. One of his favorite things to say now is "Ho, ho, ho!" whenever you mention Santa. It is really cute! He goes around the house hugging and kissing all of the Santa Claus decorations, too ~ I think that he has figured out really early that this is a guy you want to be extra nice to! Other than mommy fighting a yucky cold, everything is going great here...We can't wait to see many of you over the next two weeks! Stay warm and enjoy the beautiful view! :)
Waiting patiently for Santa Claus to come on the fire truck...
Here he comes! Hunter was almost in disbelief!
It was so dark, it was hard to get a good shot and my camera was acting up...but, he just waved like mad with a totally shocked expression on his face until Santa had turned the corner and was out of sight!
Making his nightly calls on his "cell phone"
Telling someone all about Santa Claus on the big red firetruck (my interpretation, of course!)
Ms. Patience...she has truly proven herself as Hunter gets older and "loves" on her harder and harder - this consists of laying on top of her, hugging her neck super tight, holding her ears so he can kiss her on top of her nose, and many other displays of affection that many dogs just wouldn't stand for! She's a good girl!
Speaking of...Hunter sitting on top of Skyler as they watch "Thomas the Train" ~ a new favorite around our house! :)
This was what we woke up to Saturday morning...just a little bit of snow...when measuring in the middle of the yard, it measured exactly 11 inches...crazy how quickly it can accumulate!
Our reindeer won't be flying anywhere anytime soon with all that snow on them...The "mama" and the "Dadda" reindeer were my mom's and I always loved them...Will surprised me last weekend and constructed the baby buck to be Hunter...now our reindeer family is complete! :)
Snow snow snow...
Hunter giving mommy's snow boots a try...so silly!
Playing peekaboo with mommy
Hugs for Santa

One of many falls...but, he did great and hopped right back up and kept on truckin!
Taking a little walk in our "winter wonderland"
Waving to the little girls from next door...
and then he decides to go "chat" with them for a bit!
Listening and watching them very carefully :)
Check ya later, ladies...got other places to go!

He learned real quick to step over the deep parts!
