End to a wonderful winter break...

As mommy's winter break winded down, we squeezed in as much family time as possible and even visited with our friends and past neighbors (Todd, Heather and Lucas Bryant) on Sunday. It was so nice to catch up and Lucas showed me how to work all my new toys! I have a lot to learn! Since we last updated, mommy and daddy rang in the new year with their close friends Tina, Dan, Paul and Katie ~ they enjoyed a quiet night of fonduing while I stayed at Gram and Grandpa's house for the night. We spent the day at Gram and Grandpas on New Years Day eating black eyed peas, stewed tomatoes, ribs and sauerkraut (anything for good luck, right?) Then, Grandpa Newsome came over for a visit and a little playtime! Daddy ended hunting season by killing two does on Friday and Saturday, which was enough to put a big smile on his face! I think it is safe to say that we are stocked with deer meat for a while! Auntie came over for the day on Saturday and exhausted herself dancing hard with me - I loved it!! Then, Sunday we had the Bryant's over and the adults visited while Lucas and I played with all my toys together. I pooped out early and went down for a nap before they even left! I'll try to rest up better the next time I know we are getting together! Mommy went back to work today, but ended up leaving early due to a little stomach bug...we hope it isn't anything that is going to last too long!
