As I'm sure many of you have already heard, mommy is on winter break from school and she is so excited to be at home where she is busy getting everything ready for the holidays...We had a busy week, but a very eventful week as well. As we shared in our last post, Hunter started crawling this week, so that has kept everyone on their toes and has proven to put quite a smile on Hunter's face! Hunter has also started "feeding" himself. We have started encouraging him to pick the "puffs" up off of his tray and little pieces of Ritz cracker as well. Sometimes, he ends up getting too frustrated because they get inside of his fist and he can't seem to understand how to get them out! Friday night was a relaxing night and mommy and daddy enjoyed a quiet fondue together. On Saturday, we went out to Babies R Us to get baby gates to put at the top and bottom of the stairs since the little man is on the move! Daddy spent the afternoon installing our various babyproofing items while mommy wrapped some Christmas gifts. Then, Saturday night, Auntie Heather hosted a family Christmas party where we had lots of good food with great company. We also had a white elephant gift exchange, which proved to be quite hilarious! On Sunday, Daddy watched the Redskins beat the Eagles while Mommy, Hunter and Auntie went over to Gram and Grandpa's for the day to watch movies and hang out in their pj's. Since it was cold and rainy, it was the perfect way to spend the day! Daddy is feeling under the weather, so we are hoping that he gets better before Christmas! Meanwhile, Hunter and Mommy are finishing up the last minute shopping and cleaning before Christmas. We are all looking forward to seeing family and friends over the next week. For those of you whom we may not get to see, we hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year!

Some quick little shots of life in Hunter's shoes...looking at his reflection in the wine refrigerator, playing with his toys, getting a quick buzz cut from daddy, chasing puffs around his tray and constantly being followed around by the paparazzi!! (thanks to Auntie, Mommy and the grandparents) :)
