The past two weeks have been pretty busy around our house! Most every evening was jam packed with playing, taking baths, reading books and lots of cuddling...and of course, we always find time for "tickle time"! We celebrated Grandpa Newsome's birthday on October 22nd and he came over for dinner and cake. During the weekend, we enjoyed time with our family as well as our friends Coleton, Benjamin, Robin, Bryant, Tina and Dan. We cheered the Hokies on at Robin and Bryant's house, but apparently we weren't cheering loud enough! I got my 7 month picture taken on Sunday and we topped off the day with a Redskins win that afternoon!
This past week couldn't go quick enough...we all couldn't wait for the weekend so we could spend time together and mommy and daddy actually thought that daylight savings time might buy them a little extra sleep...ha! Halloween night turned out to be tons of fun in our new neighborhood...we went from having no trick or treaters at our old house to having hundreds at the new house! There were hayrides with kids jumping off and running in every direction...they all had a blast and were greeted by Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa Newsome, Gram and Grandpa and Auntie on our front porch! They had to resort to giving out little bits of candy at the end in order to make it through the night! I slept through the trick-or-treaters, but that's ok, because I was resting up for next year...I certainly won't be sleeping then! I might not have gotten any candy on Halloween, but I got my first two teeth, so I think I made out quite nicely! Between my teeth coming in and the daylight savings time, I haven't exactly been sleeping as I normally do. I have found that it is quite fun to party in the wee hours of the morning! The one positive thing is that I am happy as can be, but I don't want to party alone, so I make sure that mommy or daddy come and join me! Maybe by the end of the week I will be back into a sleep routine again...Until then, I hope everyone has a great week! Enjoy the pictures below!
