Hi everyone! Recently, we have truly found out the meaning of the words "time flies" as we have watched Hunter grow from a little infant to a little man! Due to this, we thought that we would create an easy way for everyone to check in and see what's going on in our lives! Sometimes there just isn't a convenient moment to pick up the phone or stop by for a visit, so hopefully this will make it easier to keep up with life's happenings...

Rachael is currently enjoying her last day of summer (Labor Day) and is at peace with going back to school tomorrow. Although she would kill for the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom, she feels blessed to have a job that she loves where she can spend summers, holidays and the weekends with her family and won't miss all those incredible special moments!
This summer consisted of wonderful days that started with a visit to the gym in the morning, where mommy would work out with her friend, Emily, while Hunter played in the KidsZone with Kaden (Kevin and Emily's little boy). Hunter and mommy would then go home and have playtime together, which consisted of visits to the pool, tummytime, or simply playing on the blanket with Hunter's toys. It was nice having daddy working from home so he could pop in and see us every once in a while! :) We are sure going to miss him during the school year!
Here are some pictures of our family's summer fun together :)

Will is enjoying the first day of hunting season today (dove hunting) - This is one of his favorite times of the year...Hunting and football...what more could a man ask for? He can't wait until little Hunter is old enough to go out and learn how to hunt...he will be so proud! He went to the Virginia Tech game this past Saturday and had a great time, even though it didn't turn out as he had hoped!
Hunter has been teething these past couple of weeks, but the pain seems to have died down a little, because he isn't crying as much. No little pearly whites have made their appearance, although today we swore we saw a little white glimmer coming through! He has really started to smile at the drop of a hat and we have discovered that he has ticklish feet!! He still gets a kick out of peek-a-boo and us singing to him and still laughs when you clap his hands together. He has gone from hating being on his tummy to preferring his tummy to his back - we hear that is a good thing, so we are grateful!
To help soothe himself from the teething, he has started sucking his upper lip - here is a little video clip of it - it's pretty funny - he looks like an old man!
Gram (Will's mom) is excited about her full time job starting tomorrow. She will be keeping Hunter during the week when school is in. They have a ball together. They go on walks every morning and play all afternoon! Hunter has his very own room there, so he is quite content!Grandpa is always excited to get home from work so he can spend time with the little man! Hunter is very lucky to have such a loving family that is always ready and waiting for a moment to spend with him!

Hunter and Lucas Bryant playing together - Hunter is almost as big as Lucas and he is 10 1/2 months old!! (BTW - Hunter is 5 1/2 months here)
After a recent visit to the Bryant's house (Heather, Todd and Lucas), Hunter has a new favorite toy! He tried Lucas' rainforest jumper and loved it, so we went out and got him one of his own! In fact, he played so hard in it this morning that he fell asleep in it - it was hilarious! (video below)
Grandpa Newsome came for a visit today and, as usual, made Hunter laugh till he was wiped out! He loves coming from Chester to spend time with the little man and they have a great time together. Here's a video of Hunter and Grandpa laughing as I blow bubbles! (sorry, I didn't realize that my finger was over the camera for the first few seconds)

-Grandpa and Hunter playing as usual!
Well, we hope everyone is doing well and we look forward to seeing you all when you get a chance!
